Phillip entered the shop, and brought forth a sack with 800 gold inside of it. Walking over to the stables, he indicated the horse he wanted to buy, all the while trying to avoid eye contact with the shop keep.

The shopkeeper eyed him curiously, and walked over to the horse. He put a saddle on it, and walked him to Phillip, and took the bag of money.

A young man walked in, instantly looking into the eyes of the shopkeeper. "Good day!" He said, with what seemed like a smile from what can be seen of his face. "I was planning on going to hunt for some treasure, and I need a weapon or two, might you suggest something?" He stood, waiting for a response.

"Yes....." He replied, nervously, " I wouldn't suggest the fencing blade, or the dual sabers. How about this bow and quiver that just came in stock? 200 for the bow and quiver, 100 for 20 arrows. It's a bargain, you won't find anywhere else."

The young boy pulled out the money and counted it into the shopkeeper's hands. "Two hundred ninety eight!?" He pulled off his shoe and put another coin into the shopkeeper's hand. "I guess this counts as a rainy day." He then waited,

The young man shook his head as he put his shoe back on. He took the items and walked out, stopping at the door just long enough to say "I'll see ya again."

Phillip brushed the horse he had been presented with, and regarded his purchase with a satisfied air. She was a beautiful Roan mare, with strong legs and an even, glossy coat. He decided to name her Luna, and mounted her. Smiling to himself, he walked Luna out of town.

Kuroi walked in, smiling with his eyes closed as usual, he approached a stallion and poked at it carefully. The beast was as black as night, his coat shined brilliantly.
"Eh... something like this might be too expensive for me..."
He turned to the clerk.
"Hey, how much is this little guy over here?"
He patted the horse's head as he spoke.

"800 gold. Would you like to buy him?" The man asked, and walked over to him.

"Eeeeh? Eight Hundred Gold?"
He went wide eyed for a bit, immediately, he withdrew his bag of gold, rummaging through to find the neccessary amount. He kept on repeating the amount as if he would forget if he didn't.
"How much was it again?"
The horse's head seemed to drop with shame at Kuroi's display of idiocy. Shaking his head, Kuroi pulled out 800 gold from his pouch and handed it to the man.

"Thank you for your patronage." The man said, untied the horse and went back to the counter.

Not bothering with a saddle or rope, Kuroi simply walked out as the horse followed.
