A young man wandered in, carrying a bow in one hand and a quiver full of arrows on his back. He looked at the Shrine in absolute wonderment, curious of its meaning. Looking around for some sign of life, he decided to explore some more, walking everywhere he could see to check for another human, or maybe something else...

A cloaked figure appeared in front of him, seeming to fall out of thin air.
"What is your name and purpose here?" He simply inquired. "Well, speak up!"

"My name is Arubius." The boy replied. He seemed to be somewhat curious and scared of the stranger, looking at him as if he were a growling, rabid wolf. "As for my purpose here, I just wandered in, brought here by following the stars." he then said. He waited to see what the stranger was going to do.

He slightly smiled, and lifted back the hood of his cloak, revealing a tan face and striking white hair. "That's good enough for me. Stay here as long as you like, but watch out. The preists upstair don't like me down here, and frequently send a golem or two to get me out." He said. He looked up at the large statue behind him and said, "They say this place holds the key to immortality, but nonetheless, I stay here just to train. By the way, my name's Zach. Pleasure to meet you."

Suprised for a few seconds, Arubius didn't say much. "............................n-nice to meet you, Zach." He finally said.... He still looked insecure, something he seemed to pick up at the mention of the golems.

Zach smiled at Arubius' insecurity. "Well, like I said, stay as long as you want." he said, and leaped up, seeming to dissapear from whence he came.

Trying to convince himself over and over again, he explored the temple some more. "No golems are gonna show.......no golems are gonna show.... I can take a golem....gooolems are noooothing to feeeeear...." He seemed to lack confidence in his abilities to fight...

A Lizardman crawled headfirst down the nearby huge statue, and stared at Arubius. Sensing his fear, it screamed and leaped blade first at him.

Startled by the Lizardman, Arubius's first reaction was to run backwards, he then caught himself and kicked the Lizardman in the stomach.

The Lizardman, caught in mid-air, fell back and tended to itself for a moment. It then stood up in a defensive stance, watching it's opponent carefully.

Almost instantly, street fighting mode kicked in. Going into an "Emerald" fighting stance, Arubius attempted to "sweep" or "trip" the Lizardman. OOC: I got the "Emerald" from Wrestlemania XIX for GC. Just soyano.

Easily tripped, the Lizardman fell on it's back, dropping it's dagger. He picked himself up and rammed Arubius with his sheild.

Easily bashed by the shield, Arubius fell down, winded. After a few seconds, Arubius jumped to his feet and rushed the Lizardman, punching wildly as a small child does when angered.

Suprised by the attack, the Lizardman fell to the punches, and also fell off the platform and into the green, unknown liquid below. A shreik was cut short as it's head went under.
A hand was placed on Arubius' shoulder, and he spun around to see Zach. "Good. I see you can fight. Would you like to stay and train with me?"
Level gained: 2

"Train with you?........I've almost no training myself.... I would be honored." The young Arubius then looked into the mystery liquid down below, where the Lizardman met his demise... Happiness shone in his eyes as he turned back around to see Zach.
